We are an organization of dedicated artists who are committed to the enhancement of the artistic environment of our communities. As a truly congenial group we cherish the opportunity to share with fellow artists our love and appreciation of art.
We strive to keep abreast of trends and developments in the contemporary art world. We address matters of personal growth and improvement of our skills, and of the benefits of displaying our work in unison.

TriCounty Artists of Long Island strongly believes that our success depends on the active cooper- ation of each member. We encourage attendance at all meetings and expect participation in all our exhibitions.
Meetings are held throughout the year on the third Tuesday of desig-nated months, during which we plan our four or five yearly exhibitions. RIGHT NOW, meetings have been on HOLD, but, we keep in CONSTANT contact by emails/texts and on our website.
These are held at various venues usually the galleries of univer- sities and public libraries of Long Island, where we have the privilege of showing our work to the general public as well as to our colleagues, families and friends. At most of our shows we provide receptions for which we print invitations and provide notice to the local news media.
Our exhibitions are judged by well-known and respected judges who confer ribbons and cash awards for excellence in technique and creativity.
Our Website has been updated, and we are STILL a 501 (3) (c) organization. Our FORMER Website: www.tricountyartistsoflongisland.org

To satisfy our educational responsibilities, we offer two “hands-on” work-shops each year (spring and autumn) conducted by outstanding artists who generously share their special techniques. These workshops for which we charge a nominal fee, are open not only to members but also to the interested public, depending on what space is available.
Our president’s monthly newsletter keeps the mem- bership apprised of all our activities. It dispenses news of members’ achievements outside of the league and of the offerings of galleries and museums in the New York area and Long Island.
Meetings: Every third Tuesday of most months RIGHT NOW, meetings have been on HOLD
